To save time creating a new deal record, you may wish to create the deal directly from the company record. The benefit of this approach is that the system will automatically associate the deal to the company document. (Note: if you would like to also associate this deal to a contact record, you should consider creating the deal directly from the contact record to save time. See Creating New Deals from a Contact).
To create a deal from a company record, follow these steps:
Save to save this new deal record
Discard to not save this new deal record
Cancel to continue working on this new deal record
