Filtering Records

To filter records in SalesNOW, start by clicking on the appropriate tab - such as Contacts, Companies, Leads , Deals or Cases- to display the list of records.

The filter options vary based on the type of record selected:

• Lead Records can be filtered by lead status: Active or Inactive
• Deal Records can be filtered by deal status: Active, Won, Lost or All
• Case Records can be filtered by deal status: New, Assigned, Closed or All
• Call, Meeting & Task Records can be filtered by date: Today's,This Week's or This Month's

To filter your deals, for example, click on the Deals tab. Notice that the list of deals is filtered by All deals by default. The current deal filter option is displayed at the bottom right of the screen.

To change the way the list of deals is filtered:

1. Click the MENU button and select Show

2. Highlight a different filter option, such as Won for example, and click the trackball.

3. Notice that the system will now display only the deals which have a status set to Won. All other deals will be hidden. The new filter option is displayed at the bottom right of the screen as Won

Note: The filter selection will be automatically saved for the next time that you view the record list and can be identified as it will be displayed in Green at the bottom right of the screen.
