Sorting Records

To sort records in SalesNOW, start by tapping on the appropriate tab - such as Contacts, Companies, Leads or Deals - to display the list of records. To sort your deals, for example, tap on the Deals tab. Notice that the list of deals is sorted alphabetically by deal name by default.

To change the way the list of deals is sorted, do the following:

1. Tap Menu and select Sort By
2. Tap a different sort criteria (such as Sort by Company, Sort by Next Appointment, Sort by Close Date, etc.)
3. A dot in front of the sort criteria will indicate the current sort selection

Note: The find feature, discussed in the Finding Records section, will help you quickly access records based on the first letters of the sorted view. So, for example, if I sort my contacts by City Name, the find feature will look up alphabetically by City Name (instead of by contact name).
