Creating Contacts from iPad Addresses

SalesNOW allows you to save a contact in your iPad Address Book into SalesNOW. This procedure will not only add the contact or company into SalesNOW, but it will also automatically associate the new SalesNOW contact record to its respective company record.

To create a SalesNOW contact from your iPad Address Book, do the following:

  1. Tap Options on the tab bar.

  2. Tap iPad Integration and choose to import a single contact by tapping Import a single iPhone Contact or all contacts by tapping Import all iPad Contacts
  3. Select the contact that you would like
  4. To open the contact for whom you would like to create the call log, tap the contact record
  5. Tap Log next to the phone number against which you'd like to create the call log
  6. Enter the call log's information
    7. In your BlackBerry Address Book, highlight the contact that you would like to Save to SalesNOW and click the trackball

  1. Enter any additional contact information. Scroll the trackball to the next field that you would like to complete (See Creating Records)

  2. To associate the contact to a specific company,

    1. Select an existing company by clicking the magnifying glass image\ebx_-752130004.gif and clicking on the company name to which you would like to associate, or

    2. Add a new company by clicking the green plus sign image\ebx_-580437850.gifand entering the company information, pressing the escape key and clicking Save

  3. Enter any custom information related to the contact. (Note: the custom fields will not appear if there are no custom fields that have been added on the contact document by your SalesNOW Administrator. Once the custom information has been added, the custom information will appear within the custom sub-tab.)

  4. Once you have completed entering all of the data into the record, click Escape to choose one of three options:

    1. Save to save this new contact record

    2. Discard to not save this new contact record

    3. Cancel to continue working on this new contact record
