Filtering Records

To filter records in SalesNOW, start by clicking on the appropriate tab - such as Contacts, Companies, Leads or Deals - to display the list of records.

The filter options vary based on the type of record selected:

• Contact Records can be filtered alphabetically by contact's last name
• Company Records can be filtered alphabetically by company name
• Lead Records can be filtered by lead status: Active, Inactive or All
• Deal Records can be filtered by deal status: Active, Won, Lost or All
• Email Records can be filtered by email direction: To Me, From Me or All
• Call, Meeting and Task Records

1. can be filtered by date: Today's, This Week's, This Month's or All
2. can be filtered by association: Leads, Deals or All
3. can be filtered by status: Hide Completed or Show All

To filter your deals, for example, click on the Deals tab. Notice that the list of deals is filtered by Active deals by default.

To change the way the list of deals is filtered:

1. Click on a different filter option, such as Won for example, to display only the deals which have a status set to Won. All other deals will be hidden.

2. To display only Active deals once again, click on the filter option Active.

Note: The filter selection will be automatically saved for the next time that you view the record list and can be identified as it will be displayed in Orange.
