Sorting Records

To sort records in SalesNOW, start by clicking on the appropriate tab - such as Contacts, Companies, Leads or Deals - to display the list of records. To sort your deals, for example, click on the Deals tab. Notice that the list of deals is sorted alphabetically by deal Name by default.

To change the way the list of deals is sorted you have two options:

  1. Click on a different column heading, such as Estimated Value for example, to sort the deals by Estimated Value. Notice that the first sort is in ascending order.

  2. To reverse the sort order, click on the column heading a second time. So for example, to sort the deals by the highest Estimated Value click on the Estimated Value column heading a second time.

Not all columns headings can be selected for sorting purposes. If the column heading that you are selecting is not automatically underlined, the data cannot be sorted by this column.

Note: The sort order will be automatically saved for the next time you view the record list, and the sort selection can be identified by an Orange column heading.
