Searching Records - Basic

To perform a basic search of records in SalesNOW, start by clicking on the appropriate tab - such as Contacts, Companies, Leads or Deals - to display the list of records.

The basic search options vary based on the type of record selected:

• Contact Records can be searched by contact's last name
• Company Records can be searched by company name
• Lead Records can be searched by lead name
• Deal Records can be searched by deal name
• Email Records can be searched by email subject
• Call, Meeting and Task Records can be searched by activity subject

To perform a basic search for a company, for example, click on the Companies tab. To search for a specific company, such as ABC Manufacturing, follow these steps:

1. Type your search criteria into the box to the left of the search button. For example, you could type ABC

2. Click search

3. The company records that match the search criteria will be displayed in the company list.

Note: The display all of the records in the list once again you can remove the text from the search box and click search.
